Creativity Must Flow

Since our beach visit, there has been a new flurry of creativity,

using "beachy" things like drift wood and stones and paint.

I think this would be my first painting since the kids were born!

A Visit to the Beach

It's been such a long time since we visited our old haunts down the shore of Lake Michigan!

So long, in fact, the last time was when Eli was just a small baby laying on a blanket.

But the older three kids remembered "their place", 

fondly running around with squeals of delight,

touching and remembering the many hours and days we spent there when we lived in Sheboygan.

Eli and Theo quickly picked up on the excitement and placed their claims too. :)

It was so good to be back.

Stronger Than Big Brother

Everyone finds it quite funny, except Miles that is, that Celene can quite easily beat him in arm wrestling.

Good Bye Sweet Poppy

We find it so hard to say good bye to our sweet little girl today...

She was a delightful member of our family,

and we will miss her terribly.
