County Marsh Field Trip

We had a wonderful opportunity to join a DNR ecologist on a very informative field trip.
We all learned a lot about wetlands, their value, how they work, the many kinds of
animal and plant species they support, migration, and the history and purpose of the Marsh today.

Maywood Sappin' and Sawin'

Maywood Conservation Parks invites homeschoolers for various events throughout the year...
about 3-4 per per season.
This one focused on lumberjacking and maple syrup making, taught by a former lumberjack.
It was fun and enlightening for all.
