Spring Piano Recital

The kids had a sweet little informal piano recital outside on the deck, to celebrate the end of their school year of piano lessons!

It will be a nice break and we look forward to starting up again in the fall.

 

Last Art Class This Year

 

For the last art class of this school year, we met at a park and did mosaics!

We were also treated by an impromptu visit by the deputy sheriff, who regaled the kids with stories and patiently answered their hundreds of questions, and even humorously locked the kids up in handcuffs, when they asked.

The park had a splash pad, so after art class, this kids loved that! I didn't think it was nearly warm enough for such antics, but of course kids don't care about such things.

School Finish Treat

As a reward for a school year well done, I took the kids to an adventure park :)

It was a fun treat to work on this.

A few dads from church took the teens on a canoe trip last week!

 

Last Day of School 2021

As a homeschool mom, I've often plagued by "what can we do better, or more, or differently"

But right now, just grateful for these kids, these opportunities, their hard work.

A friend took a few of my kids with hers to Bay Beach last week. Nice treat!

Theo has picked up a new passion and (what feels like) is constantly pestering me to take him to a tennis court!

One bright sunny Friday morning we took the kids mini golfing!
