Last Friday we enjoyed a lovely, autumn day with a large group of our homeschooling friends
at the Wade House in Greenbush.
The day started with a scavenger hunt and learning about many kinds of wagons and carriages
in the Carriage Museum.
Then a horse-drawn carriage took us to the historical area.

| Outside the Wade House Inn, the kids got to help make candles the old-fashioned way. |
| It was a pot of tallow melted over the fire and the kids dipped in strings of cotton many, many times. |
| Inside the Wade House Inn, on the 3rd floor, are the guest rooms and a ballroom. |
| Kids playing old-fashioned games on the Wade House lawn. |
| Celene was determined master walking on stilts |
| And she did it! |
| Mesmerized by the very interesting blacksmith |
| Watching the stream |
| The sawmill demonstration was very interesting |
