Last Few Days

Have you ever seen such a beautiful creature? Would you know what it was?
This lovely thing caused a lively debate between the kids...is it a moth or a hummingbird?
It has a moth-like body, but it's wings hum and it even makes the sounds a hummingbird makes.
We looked it up, and of course, it is called a hummingbird moth!!!

It is enjoying our flowers in the backyard.
It was a friendly little fuzzy creature and even allowed us to touch it when it was sipping nectar.

So amazing!

Congratulations Hannah, for graduating out of ABC Mouse last week!
The final level covers concepts from 2nd and 3rd grade.
Of course, she thinks she is ready to start Monarch online school in 3rd grade in the fall.
We shall see!

this is a mason bee home made and given to us by friends...
the little holes have been claimed and stuffed with little grasses and pieces of leaves...
a fun and curious little activity!

Miles decided to make a nice and sturdy stool for our kitchen.
The little kids are always arguing over who gets to use the one we have,
so it was nice and thoughtful of him!
