Last Week

Celene is bringing in the last of her summer garden produce...squash and pumpkins yet to come!

Mr. Peppermint was gone for about 6 hours one day...you can imagine the state of mess our house was in trying to find him.
Grandma's dog Charlotte finally led us to him...inside the underside of our dishwasher!

This was the first time any of us had ever seen or found a praying mantis in the wild! What a treat!
We observed him for a few hours and let him go.

Science class lately..Miles had a series of things to gather and view under a microscope..and write reports and drawings.
Of course Celene was present through it all.
