Finally, An Update!

Goodness, it's been a while.
Sickness and healing, ups and downs. It's all part of life, isn't it?

However, whether I have time or energy for the computer, doesn't stop the kids from all their activity!

These next few photos are of Miles and Celene making pancakes...completely on their own...
for the first time!
They did great reading the recipe and mixing and baking.
And the pancakes were delicious!
It sure is nice to have kids old enough to cook and bake!

reading the recipe - I wrote it out for them in their notebook so it was easier to understand

the latest snow activity...pull their smaller siblings all around the yard on sleds

And these next few shots  are of Celene and Theo...
she thinks it the greatest thing to put Theo in the wrap and carry him all over the house.
Of course, he entirely agrees. :)

and this would be Theo...sleeping soundly on the floor of our chiropractor's office

I'm not sure what I did to them...but Eli is also sleeping in the chiropractor's chair, that same day!

A Few Randoms...

Well, for some reason, my phone isn't backing up photos to my online storage,
so I need to figure that out. I can't get to the most recent photos.
Until then, here's a few from the last month or so.

Eli got a hold of Daddy's phone and took a selfie haha! :)

A very proud Eli helping Daddy shop :)

We've been getting weekly (or more) visits from a flock of wild pheasants since winter began - so pretty!

Miles and Celene test-driving a new Corvette at the dealership :)

Shawn snapped this one of Theo and I snoozing in the chair :)

Christmas at Grams

We did our best to get a Grams-With-Great-Grandchildren photo!!
Isn't it cute?

Secret Santa

So there's an anonymous Santa who wanted to surprise my kids with a few gifts!
It was very exciting. They each got a toy and new dress outfit, which they love!!
Whoever did this...if you read this...thank you so much!
You made their week!
:)

Deep Snow

...has given my kids all they need for mid-winter distraction, fun, energy-release...
whatever you wanna call it.
They don't even want to come inside.

Reflections

A little over two weeks ago,
I experienced the Lord's caring Hand as He held my life through a terrible car crash.
As the next two weeks unfolded,
His gracious care has been showered upon us in the gifts, cards, notes, meals, phone calls,
help, and care.
There aren't words to describe all the love shown.
It's nothing less than utterly amazing.
And to all those people who cared for and loved my little ones through this,
cleaned my house, cooked amazing and elaborate meals,
scrubbed my floors, rocked my baby to sleep over and over again,
and so generously gave money and gifts and paid for bills....
thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you, a thousand times.
May God richly bless you, as much as He's blessed me.
Through you.
