Taking the kids photos each year is a bittersweet time.
It's a joy to be able to portray them in the sunlight, to be reminded of their health, their strength, their growth, their bright smiles, and happy dispositions. We are blessed beyond measure.
And yet the heart squeeze comes along with it. To face the fact that they have grown so much. To realize I have to point the camera UP to photograph my eldest child. It's a painful thing.
Miles thinks it's funny to place Mocha on Pearl's back while Celene is doing her grooming duties.
I'm not convinced either critter is too sure about this ;)
