Later in the day, Shawn surprised the kids by sending them on an egg hunt!

He filled up little plastic eggs with candies, coins, buttons, matchbox cars, squishes, and hid them all over the yard.

The kids proclaimed it the "best day ever!"

A City Walk

A bit a extra time last week allowed for a short city walk to enjoy the melting snow.

Looking out the window today though, 

you wouldn't have known there was a foot of snow there last week.

Beautiful as it was, we are loving the mud and grass even more!

last 3 days snowstorm has gotten the kids out and enjoying it yet again. here's Miles doing a great job on the tractor clearing the driveway so Daddy can get home from work.

every time we think it is the last snow of the year and pack the snowmobiles up in the barn, we end up getting them out again! 

Theo prefers the quiet company of a pet hen than the loud and (too) fast snowmobiles

Happy 10th Birthday Celene!

Celene enjoyed her 10th birthday with a sleep over with her best friend Abbie,

a fun day at Blue Harbor with Grandma and cousin Julia,

and cake and presents!
