Eli Starts Tae Kwon Do



And because he's 5, can finally start!
He's been waiting a whole year for this!
He was all smiles for his first class.
So happy!

Lift Club



The kids really enjoy their monthly Lift Club meetings.
Last week's theme was gentleness, and the kids had to carry an egg during all their activities.

Hannah's Flowers


Hannah has decided for her summer job to plant flowers and sell bouquets.
She planted zinnias, lupines, and some other kinds.
She worked very hard and they are coming up nicely.

We've been enjoying the presence of two pairs of red-breasted grosbeaks at our feeders



Miles' new school program calls for map-making as part of his geography lessons

He's enjoying it a lot and I'm happy with his work

we visited a park last week with friends and the kids enjoyed watching the geese and goslings

and they loved chasing and holding a frog

we spotted a poor little turtle trying to cross Hwy 67, so we picked it up and put him a safe woodland close by
