We took a warm Monday to kayak on Little Elkhart!
What a lovely treat.

Shawn even caught some fish!

Happy 14th Birthday Celene!

One thing I know for certain...
we did nothing to deserve the gift that she is!

This Week

Hannah was delighted to be able to spend some time with baby Reverie

Celene played a joke on Miles and took his bunny along to the dump

Bald eagles have only returned to our area within the last 5 years, so every time we see one, it's magical!
This one is right on our road.

Miles has beef calves again! Meet Butch and Jerry.

Silly faces in the van

The snow keeps coming this year! Thankfully now it melts quickly.

Bunny love

Can you find Lulu in this picture?

Celene was delighted to be able to catch a guinea...they are so wild and nearly impossible to catch!

Miles and Celene in Alabama with Grandma

Grandma took Miles and Celene and cousin Sully to the Alabama Gulf Shore for a week!

They loved it!

On the way they stopped in Tennessee and took a tour in Diamond Caves.

Back Home Again

Lou was found snoozing in Dad's drawer!

Miles delivering a short research study and presenting it at friends

Shawn recently got a 3D printer and it has kept the kids captivated!

I'm working on this embroidery project...I like it!

Hannah and friend Emma enjoying a warm spring day with a campfire

the first warm day required a picnic lunch of course!

Arizona 2022 Boat Races

We also took a day to visit some boat races.
Of course this was very exciting for the boys!

it was a lovely sunny day

Arizona 2022 Sedona

We took 1 day of travel to visit the famous red rocks of Sedona!
It was an absolutely stunning day of beauty!

This place is called Slide Rock Park, and the kids actually swam and slide on the rocks in that water.
The water was about 50 degrees, most of it ice/snow melt off the mountains.
I didn't even want to put my feet in, it was SO COLD.
But the kids were brave!

being silly

stunning

Miles and Celene must be getting older because they avoided the water like we adults!

thankfully the sun was still hot and the kids warmed up quickly

Shawn and the kids climbed up some cliffs

it was an interesting hike, to be sure!
