Pearl Likes Spring Too

Celene took Pearl out to enjoy the sunshine Saturday afternoon.

After kicking up her heels in delight, she settled down and enjoyed some nibbles of grass.

Bike Ride and River Visit

Last week, the kids and I made use of a warmer(ish) sunny day to take our second bike ride this spring! 

We biked a good distance to where a local river meets with a road about a mile away.

However, with the steep hills and our winter (not-in-shape) figures, we were tired!

Anyway, we all enjoyed the fast-rushing spring river.

Celene at the Symphony Orchestra

It was Celene's turn for her free symphony experience!

She was thrilled with the lovely theater and music.

Glimpses of Spring

Celene is starting seeds in a sunny window!
Nearly all of the seeds she's starting and planting this year are her own seeds, saved from last year.
So proud of her :)

several feet of snow thawing all at one has caused a lot of flooding issues...this is the field near our house...and our internet provider box nearly submerged. Kind of amazed the internet is working this morning!

Sheboygan Children's Museum

Grandma took the kids last week, and these are the pictures she took! :)

and later in the day, we enjoyed art class at friends :)

Eli's First TKD Test!

Unfortunately, most of the testing highlights are on video, but here are a few pics to get the idea. :)

Miles and Celene got their first black stripes on their brown belt, very exciting!

Theo's Coloring

I think Theo's coloring made good progress this year! 

this is the first page of his coloring book...done last Sept ;)

this is about halfway through...he got a sad face for that one unfortunately ;)

and this is the last page in his book, finished last week! I'm pleased with the progression!
Not too bad for a 4 year old. :)

Milwaukee Car Show

Daddy took the two boys to the car show this year...

Eli was beyond thrilled that he was finally big enough to go!
