Happy 9th Birthday Eli!

A hatchet and binoculars from Grandma!

A motocross helmet and racing goggles from mom and dad!

Celene and Theo bought him a piƱata!

May Things

Driving past the lake we saw a man flying some very large kites.
He invited the kids to come help him take them down.

Miles was thrilled to be asked to drive his friend's dad's tractor during planting.

Mocha is so tame. Theo often holds him like this and tells him all kinds of things.

Waiting to watch a homeschool program, Celene offered Theo her lap to get a better view.

Mocha was so tired one morning he fell asleep in Miles' hands

Drawing outside and enjoying the sun

We are continuing what Eli learned and passing some of it along to Theo.

The girls were thrilled to have some time with their little cousin Reverie.

The girls have fun decorating Pearly, and she doesn't mind the attention.

Jack enjoyed Theo brushing his winter coat out!

The kids have their garden planting done. Now I have to finish mine!

Eli enjoyed a little campfire with Grandma on his birthday sleepover.

Eli and Mom's Trip

Eli and Mom took a week-long trip to Janesville to attend a dyslexia therapy class.

It was tough, but we also made sure to enjoy the good things too.

This is the classroom we were in

Working with his teacher

Eli was really ready to be done by the end of each day

Janesville has beautiful walks along and over the river. We enjoyed those on our breaks.

Each evening Eli couldn't wait to call home and see everyone and talk to them.

Dad got us a very nice hotel for the week!

Janesville has really pretty parks too!

There were pelicans on the river behind our building.

In the building next door, Eli liked choosing treats from the snack shop.

We found this mama duck sitting on eggs.

Indoor picnic on a rainy day

Eli was very proud of his accomplishments.

April Things

Theo's drawing skills have greatly improved!

Eli and Theo tested again. Eli for brown and Theo for green!
