This Week

Dad and Theo enjoyed some time together eating out and...

Getting his new bike!!!
He's been waiting for it since early spring...so he's THRILLED!!!

The kids joined a t-shirt decorating contest for the orthodontist.
Celene was perfecting a "rainbow tornado tie dye" design...turned out amazing!

Hannah worked on perfecting a "tie dye eye"...turned out amazing too!

And Miles' worked on the "black effect"...a difficult and elusive style in the tie dye world (who knew?)

Mocha being friendly

And one more summer experience checked off the wishes list...visiting the "hot Wisconsin cheese" food trailer (it's been parked in the Plymouth farm store parking lot all summer because there's going to be no fair in our county this year)

Mix of Last Week

Miles' picture while hover-boarding over to his friend's house...enjoying the geese who are practicing their flying skills

Shawn and I enjoyed a little date and put Dad's canoe in the river

While on our date, the boys spent time with Grandma and Grandpa...

...who also took them to the pool to swim with friends :)

The girls had a chance to ride along with a cousin for a short weekend trip to Michigan to visit more cousins!

Celene's favorite thing in Michigan was (of course) their pet bunny

Hannah's picture on their way home :)

Our tae kwon do instructor has been holding classes outside at the city park...to avoid having to wear the masks!

frog jumps up the hill! phew

and of course because kids' energy bounces back to quickly, they climbed the baseball fence just for fun

Shawn attended a rally (an actual rightful peaceful one) who gathered in the front of the courthouse to protest the consideration of allowing the public health officials of Sheboygan to be able to force vaccines, with a fine and jail time penalty if refused.

Thankfully, we heard this week, that the people's voices were heard and the vaccine mandate will not pass.

Probably the last summer bash of 2020...4 moms and their kiddos met for a swim and ice-cream!

Miles, Celene, and Hannah packing up and heading out on their bikes for a sleepover at friends'

Miles getting teased for over-packing ;)

Maribel Caves

At the beginning of summer, I asked to kids write on a white board what their summer wishes were.

Eli's wish was to go inside a cave!

So that set off research as I had no idea how to find a cave locally.

Eli's wish was granted last week at the Maribel Caves near Green Bay,

and it was a beautiful experience!
