We took the kids with friends last week.
What a wonderful place!

this was a cool machine that laser printed projects that the kids could then put together

programming the laser machine

building the objects the laser machine made - Celene is making a dragonfly

Eli is making a dragon puppet

a game that taught the kids how the various energy sources were used to power the city and how much was needed

going to the aquarium was Eli's wish from last year...it finally came true and he couldn't have been more thrilled

a large suspended schooner captured the kids' imagination

they got to pet the lake sturgeon!

learning the use to tools to make work easier: wheels, ropes, pulleys, lifts, etc.

this was a huge magnet wall that the kids could move pieces around and design how they wanted their ball to fall

learning how levers work

This is a nail bed. The kids lay on a bed of sharp nails. It taught how when you distribute weight  even small sharp things don't poke (much.) ;)
