A good portion of the week in AZ it was in the 50s and rainy!

Of course, it didn't deter the kids at all, who haven't seen bare ground since Christmas. ;)

we escaped the rain one of the first afternoons and treated the kids to an arcade!

Were back safe and sound.

We had a lovely time.

Polar Vortex Last Week....

....Winter Storm Lucian this week!

And yet again, all the schools and events cancelled.

Thankfully, Lucian is kinder...so warm in fact, we are getting an interesting mix

of snow and rain and sleet...

hence the icy roads and therefore all the cancellations.

We all enjoyed some extra time outside today.

It's so pretty!

A fine layer of ice coats every tiny thing,

and when the wind blows, it sounds like a thousand tiny tinkling bells.
