Lately

Theo has made friends with a few of our young, tame hens and carries them around the yard. Celene took this photo.

and puts them in baskets...

another one of Celene's photos... :)

she still loves to find pretty caterpillars and take photos of them

and chickens in the house....

Celene made a pretty paper wreath decoration for July 4th
this is how Eli generally feels about his school...have to work on that...

we surprised David with a little birthday cheer when he came for a sleep over

I bought my first $5 bouquet from Hannah yesterday!
She's growing flowers and selling bouquets for her summer money-making venture.
They are beautiful and I'm very happy with them!
(And proud of her hard work too.) ;)

And Celene is growing garden vegetables and selling them for her summer income.
She's very diligent, working in her garden every day, and her vegetables are coming along nicely.
This was her radish harvest yesterday, and when she cleaned them and laid them out so prettily, I have to take a photo.

We are pet-sitting our Pastor's dog, Radar, for 2 weeks!
She's a lot of fun and we're all enjoying her a lot.
Here is proof of a grudging truce between her and the cat, after entertaining us with lots of lighting and chasing and hissing for the last few days.

Radar snuggles...Theo will be sad when she leaves us

Since Radar is a border collie, she assumes all moving creatures must be relatives to sheep, and must be herded, or at the very least, stopped in their tracks.
Of course, our hamsters in their cages are very studiously and diligently watched, when she is in the house.

Since it's been so warm, and there are so many creatures to herd at our place,
Radar often comes in to cool off in front of the fan.
Unfortunately, Theo doesn't get it, and covers her with his blankies. ;)

Theo crashing out of the hammock - oops ;)
